Custom Branded Workwear for Small Business

Custom Branded Workwear for Small Business Australia

Custom branded workwear is one of the most cost-effective marketing investments a small business can make. Every time your crew shows up on site, delivers to a customer, or drives through a neighbourhood, they're advertising your business. Outback Cobber offers custom workwear for Australian small businesses β€” quality work shirts, branded with your logo via embroidery or heat transfer, from a minimum of just 12 shirts.

Why Branded Workwear Matters for Small Business

For trade businesses, farms, and any company with staff working in the field, branded workwear delivers several measurable benefits:

  • Professionalism: A uniformed crew looks more trustworthy and established β€” important for winning jobs and building customer confidence
  • Brand visibility: Your logo on the job site, on the road, and in the community is passive advertising you pay for once
  • Staff identity: Workwear creates team cohesion and makes it easy for customers to identify your staff on site
  • Safety: Branded hi-vis shirts mean your crew is visible and identifiable simultaneously
  • Tax deductible: Branded workwear is generally tax deductible as a business uniform expense β€” check with your accountant

Embroidery vs Heat Transfer β€” Which Is Right for Your Business?

Embroidery

  • Stitched directly into the fabric
  • Most durable β€” won't peel or fade
  • Professional, premium look
  • Best for simple logos with bold shapes
  • Not ideal for very fine detail or photographic artwork

Heat Transfer

  • Printed film bonded to the fabric with heat
  • Sharp, full-colour finish
  • Better for detailed artwork and gradients
  • Not as durable as embroidery over time
  • Ideal for complex logos or multi-colour designs

+$5 per position +GST

Not sure which to choose? Most trade businesses go with embroidery for its durability and professional finish. If your logo has fine detail, gradients, or many colours, heat transfer is the better option. Outback Cobber's team can advise when you submit your order.

Free digitising included. When you order custom workwear through Outback Cobber, we set up your artwork for embroidery at no extra cost. Just send us your logo file.

How the Custom Workwear Process Works

  1. Choose your shirts β€” Pick from Outback Cobber's full range: long sleeve, short sleeve, sleeveless, hi-vis, polo, and more. Select your colours and sizes.
  2. Select your decoration β€” Choose embroidery or heat transfer, and where you want your logo: left chest, right chest, pocket, or back.
  3. Upload your logo β€” Submit your logo file (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF, PNG, or JPG). Vector files give the sharpest results.
  4. Review and approve β€” Outback Cobber sets up your artwork and confirms before production begins.
  5. Pay your invoice β€” An invoice is sent via email. Production starts after payment is received.
  6. Delivery β€” Your branded workwear is delivered to your door across Australia.

Minimum Orders and Pricing

Outback Cobber's custom workwear has a minimum order of 12 shirts. This is one of the lowest minimum orders available in Australia, making it accessible for small businesses, sole traders, and small crews.

Pricing is based on quantity β€” the more shirts you order, the lower the per-shirt price. All prices below include one logo position:

  • 12–24 shirts: $45.00 +GST including one logo
  • 25–49 shirts: $39.00 +GST including one logo
  • 50+ shirts: $35.00 +GST including one logo

No hidden setup fees. Free digitising included.

What Logo Positions Are Available?

  • Left chest β€” Standard position, most common for business logos
  • Right chest β€” Alternative chest position
  • Pocket β€” Available on full-button styles with a chest pocket
  • Back β€” Large back logo, popular for visibility on site β€” from $15 +GST per shirt

You can select multiple positions on the same shirt. Each position adds the relevant decoration fee.
